NEW MOTO GUZZI V7
A NEW V7 IS BORN WITH A NEW 850 CC AND 65 HP ENGINE. THE NEW V7 IS FASTER, MORE COMFORTABLE, BETTER EQUIPPED AND FINISHED, WITHOUT LOSING ANY OF THAT CHARACTER AND AUTHENTICITY THAT ARE THE HERITAGE OF ALL MOTO GUZZI MOTORS
There are two versions available: the progenitor V7 Stone , the most essential, with contemporary contents, is joined by the V7 Special with its classic and elegant lines.
A new Moto Guzzi engine makes its debut on the new V7, strictly derived from the one that equips the “Tuttoterreno” V85 TT. This is the most recent and modern drive unit built in Mandello, which guarantees better performance and greater overall efficiency, to maximize driving pleasure, fun and reliability.
Maximum power increases by 25%, from the previous 52 HP at 6200 rpm to the current 65 HP at 6800 rpm. The maximum torque is also significantly increased, which goes from 60 Nm at 4250 rpm to the excellent value of 73 Nm at 5000 rpm, with more than 80% of the torque available already at 3000 rpm.
Compared to the previous version, the new model from Mandello is generally more complete in terms of equipment and shows a higher maturity, also testified by the aesthetic impact of the larger engine, distinguished by the generous exhaust pipes with a different layout; the rear view highlights the transmission gimbal increased and the rear wheel of larger section , in addition to more robust pair of Kayaba shock absorbers .
The side panels with a refined design and the shorter rear fender are new, elements which, together with the new exhaust system, give a new and more seductive appearance to the "eight and a half".
Many new features have been introduced to improve stability and comfort, while leaving the proverbial handling of the Moto Guzzi best seller unchanged. The frame has been evolved with the addition of steel elements in the area of the steering head, while the new pair of shock absorbers with greater travel and the new double height saddle ensure more comfort. Always with the same objective, unprecedented supports for the rider's footpegs are used .
Moto Guzzi V7 Stone presents the new full LED lighting system , from the front headlight with DRL daytime running light that outlines the silhouette of the Moto Guzzi Eagle while the new fully digital single circular dial instrumentation is perfectly in tune with the essential motorcycle image . Also new are the sporty-style aluminum rims fitted to the Stone; the rear one houses a tire with a section increased to 150/70 .
V7 Special retains the elegant dual dial analogue instrumentation (speedometer and rev counter) and spoked wheels.
The V7 will also be offered in a weakened version, in line with the limitations of the A2 license and ideal for new Guzzisti and will have the adjustable and switchable MGCT traction control as standard.
