Motorcycle World is looking for an organised, driven and customer-focused Workshop Controller / Service Advisor to join our growing aftersales team.
This is a key role within the business, designed to improve workshop efficiency, profitability and the overall customer experience throughout the service journey. You’ll be the link between the customer, technicians and parts department — keeping the workshop operating smoothly and professionally.
We are an official Honda dealer working across all makes and models, so a genuine passion for motorcycles and the industry is essential.
Salary & Benefits
- £27,000 – £30,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
- Financial incentives for selling service plans/contracts
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Occasional overtime for events

- Demonstrator motorcycles available for social use

The Role
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day flow of the workshop and ensuring customers receive a high level of service from booking through to collection.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing workshop loading and technician efficiency
- Booking motorcycles in for servicing, repairs and diagnostics
- Preparing and controlling workshop job cards
- Ensuring work is invoiced accurately and efficiently
- Ordering and managing parts for ongoing jobs
- Maintaining clear communication with customers throughout repairs
- Upselling service plans/contracts where appropriate
- Working closely with technicians to ensure deadlines are met
- Helping maintain a professional, organised and profitable workshop environment
- Supporting continual improvement of the aftersales department
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a Service Advisor, Workshop Controller or automotive/motorcycle aftersales role preferred
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple jobs simultaneously
- Confident dealing with customers and technicians alike
- Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
- Passion for motorcycles and the motorcycle industry
- Full motorcycle licence required
- Experience with Honda motorcycles or dealership systems is advantageous but not essential
