We are Hiring- Motorcycle Technician 

 

Motorcycle World – Northamptonshire
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:00, with some Saturdays required
Motorcycle World is looking for an experienced Motorcycle Technician to join our busy and growing workshop.
We’re looking for someone who knows their way around a motorcycle, takes genuine pride in their work and wants to be part of a successful, friendly team.
We’re not looking for someone who simply wants to turn up, get through a list of jobs and go home. We want a technician who cares about doing things properly, is willing to help others when needed and enjoys being part of a team
 

The Role:

Working within our motorcycle workshop, you’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of motorcycles.
Day-to-day duties will include:
  • Routine servicing and maintenance
  • Mechanical repairs
  • Fault finding and diagnostics
  • PDI and preparation of new and used motorcycles
  • Fitting accessories and additional equipment
  • Carrying out safety inspections and identifying required work
  • Accurately completing workshop and job documentation
  • Working closely with our Service and Sales teams
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment
  • Ensuring every motorcycle leaving your bay meets the standard you would expect if it were your own
As a Honda dealer, full Honda technical training will be provided, giving you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and manufacturer qualifications further.

 

What we are looking for:
Relevant motorcycle mechanical experience is essential. You don’t necessarily need to arrive with every manufacturer qualification under the sun, but you do need to be a competent and experienced motorcycle mechanic/technician.
You will also need:
  • A full UK motorcycle licence
  • Your own professional tools
  • Relevant motorcycle mechanical experience
  • Good diagnostic and problem-solving ability
  • High standards of workmanship
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • A friendly and helpful attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • A willingness to learn and develop
Just as importantly, we’re looking for the right personality.

Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per annum, depending on experience
