Introducing the 2026 Honda CB1000F: Neo-Retro Performance Meets Modern Tech

Honda has unveiled the 2026 CB1000F, a motorcycle that brilliantly blends classic styling with cutting-edge performance and technology. This new naked bike brings a modern edge to the beloved CB series, offering riders a versatile and exciting machine for both city streets and open roads.

Performance and Powertrain

At the heart of the CB1000F is a 1,000cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine, derived from the CBR1000RR Fireblade but tuned for smoother, more usable torque. The engine produces 124 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 103 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm, delivering strong acceleration and performance across the rev range.

Power is transmitted through a six-speed manual transmission with a wet, assist slipper clutch, ensuring smooth gear changes and enhanced control, especially during aggressive riding or cornering.

Chassis and Handling

The CB1000F’s chassis is designed for agility and stability. It features a Showa SFF-BP upside-down front fork and a Showa rear shock with Pro-Link linkage, providing a perfect balance between comfort and responsive handling.

The bike rides on 17-inch wheels with 120/70 front and 190/50 rear tires, offering excellent grip and precise cornering. Whether navigating tight urban streets or tackling sweeping curves, the CB1000F handles with confidence.

Technology and Features

Honda has packed the CB1000F with modern technology to enhance the rider experience. A 5-inch TFT display provides clear instrumentation, while RoadSync connectivity allows riders to pair their smartphones for navigation and media control.

Safety features include a six-axis IMU, enabling cornering ABS, and throttle-by-wire with three riding modes—Rain, Standard, and Sport—plus two user-configurable modes for personalized settings. LED lighting ensures maximum visibility and a contemporary look.

Design and Aesthetics

The CB1000F combines retro-inspired styling with modern touches. Its angular fuel tank, compact tail section, and classic Honda livery evoke nostalgia while maintaining a bold and contemporary presence on the road.

The SE variant adds extra flair with a squared-off bikini fairing, heated grips, and a radiator guard, blending style with added rider comfort.
