The BMW R18 is a cruiser motorcycle inspired by classic BMW designs, with a focus on retro styling and modern performance. Key features include:



  1. Engine:

    • 1,802cc air/oil-cooled, twin-cylinder boxer engine (called the Big Boxer)

    • Produces 91 hp and 158 Nm of torque, with excellent low-end power.



  2. Transmission:

    • 6-speed transmission with a single-disc dry clutch.

    • Shaft-driven, a characteristic of many BMW bikes.



  3. Design:

    • Retro-inspired design with a large, exposed driveshaft and elongated fuel tank.

    • Iconic features like spoked wheels, a double-loop steel frame, and a teardrop-shaped fuel tank.



  4. Technology:

    • Riding modes: Three modes (Rain, Roll, Rock) for different driving conditions.

    • Automatic Stability Control (ASC) and Engine Drag Torque Control (MSR) for better stability and control.

    • Optional Reverse Assist to help with parking.
